Show Notes

After retirement from a fulfilling career, Linda Hansen decided to take up watercolors as a hobby. But when a friend encouraged her to write a book - something she'd never before considered - Linda decided to combine both new interests and wrote & illustrated her first children's book (Otto the Otter)... at age 77!
She's an inspiring example that there's no such thing as too late or too old. Take a listen to this inspiring & enjoyable conversation about her book & her journey.
About Linda (From her website)
Linda Hansen grew up in St. Louis and currently lives in Florida. She works in watercolor and acrylics. Her style is often filled with bold color and though her work is not abstract, it is often thought of as being like the work done by the Fauve artists of Paris.

Linda has a lifelong love for animals. Currently, Linda and her husband own two dogs, ‘our girls’. Since moving to Florida, Linda has helped save a great grey heron, an anhinga, a snowy egret, and a grackle nestling. Recently, they rescued a lost dog and found him a loving home.
